The following mission trips are currently planned for 2019:
Guatemala, July 13-20, 2019
The Guatemala team will work with the Highland Support Project (HSP) in Guatemala building stoves in homes in a Mayan village. These stoves will replace unhealthy and less efficient open pit fires, therefore creating a healthier environment for the families and also saving a significant amount of time each day for the women.
Each year since 2010, a team from Old Bridge has gone to Guatemala to work with the Highland Support Project in Guatemala. In 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018 we built stoves in dozens of homes in Mayan villages. In 2012 and 2017, we built kitchens for elementary schools so the school could provide hot lunches to the students.
