Baptism

LOVE - LOVING NEIGHBORS

We love God, and we love people. No matter who they are, no matter what they do, we care for our neighbors, and so, we pray for them. And for you, we pray.

Baptisms in Our Church

Old Bridge Church is honored to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. Baptism is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith. It gives us identity as the people for whom Jesus Christ lived, died and was resurrected.

As a ministry in the United Methodist connection, Old Bridge Church baptizes people of all ages. When a child is baptized, the parents take the vows for the child until the child completes Confirmation, generally in grade 8. Because the baptism of a child includes family and the church community, it is appropriate for the ceremony to take place in the church where he or she will be raised and nurtured in their Christian journey.

If you would like to further explore baptism, please fill out the Baptism Request.  A pastor or staff member from the church will contact you shortly.
